MX Merchant

MX Merchant is Dharma’s expansive payments management and reporting tool.  It gives you access to the following features:

• A virtual terminal where you can accept payments from your computer

• Store your customer’s information, like past orders, contact information, notes, spending habits, and credit card information on file in the Customer Database 

• Generate detailed reports on the fly with pre-built reports and filters to detail deposits, customers, payments, transactions, and more

• Create “Pay Now” or “Donate Now” buttons for your website

• Accept payments with a USB-connected credit-card swiper

Invoicing and Recurring Payments

With Dharma’s MX Invoicing App (built into their MX Merchant platform), you’ll be able to send your customers customized, line-item invoices with payment terms via email. Your customers can easily “click to pay” their invoice online, which will take them to a checkout form to enter their payment information. You can also set up email/text notifications to know when payments were received, declined, and more. Recurring payments can be easily set up, allowing you to automatically charge customers on a regular basis, apply taxes, discounts, and prorations.

B2B processing

Dharma’s MX Merchant B2B App will enable you to accept Level 2 and Level 3 sales through their Virtual Terminal without any extra hassle. Once enabled, Dharma will automatically populate the extra details needed for Level 2/3 processing, which could end up saving you anywhere from 20-50% on credit card fees for business to business transactions.

Fundraising

If you need to accept donations online, Dharma partners with 4aGoodCause to help you build an online fundraising campaign step-by-step, with no technical chops needed. You’ll be able to create online pages to accept payments, track your results with detailed reports and email alerts, and integrate with your CRM like Salesforce.

• Adult tangible products (no nudity or DVD/movie/Video-on-Demand/Cam-2-cam website sales)

• First-hand collection agencies (Agency must own the debt and be registered directly with Visa)

• E-Cigarettes (Minimum 5% reserve required)

• Remote tech support (Must be in business at least 2 years, with 6 months of credit card processing, call centers must be in the US, and there cannot be any outbound calling or telemarketing/upselling)

• Nutraceuticals (additional 1% assessment will apply to all transactions for chargeback liability)

• Financial/Sports advice (depends on nature of product/advice being sold)

• Online/Keyed in furniture sales (depends on average transaction size and future delivery)

• Travel merchants (airline tickets not allowed, and depends on the amount of future delivery and nature of bookings)

Accept Payments In-store

Dharma has more than a few options to choose from when it comes to taking payments in your brick and mortar. From traditional counter top terminals to wireless POS systems you can bring right to the table, Dharma has a solid selection of solutions, detailed below. If you already have a terminal, Dharma will even reprogram it to work with their systems for you (for a $100 fee).

Poynt Smart Terminal

The Poynt Smart Terminal is a snazzy, handheld device that lets you accept any type of payment from anywhere in your store (using WiFi or 3G). The Poynt terminal has a 7” merchant facing screen where you can manage payments, your product catalog, and more. For the customers, they get a 4.3” screen where they can see line-item details, taxes, and discounts in real time. They’ll get to select their payment method, add a tip, digitally sign receipts, enter their PIN for debit sales, and choose whether they want a text, email, or paper receipt. It also has 2 USB ports for any other devices you want to connect, like a cash drawer or kitchen printers, a barcode scanner, and a mobile app for real-time tracking of your sales.

Clover Terminals

Dharma also offers the popular Clover POS systems. You’ll be able to accept card, PIN, and NFC payments, manage inventory, products, employees, and communicate with your customers after you have made the sale. Clover’s product line ranges from their flagship Clover Station, which has a large 14” touchscreen, receipt printer, and serves as the perfect hub of your POS system, the Clover Mini, a 7” touchscreen device with integrated printer, and the Clover Flex, a hand-held POS with a 5” touchscreen that let’s you accept payments right at the table.

Countertop terminals

If you want a basic terminal without all the bells and whistles, Dharma offers these 2 devices: 

• Verifone Vx520 - Supports EMV, PIN debit, and swipe payments, and can connect directly to the internet with a dial-up phone line.
• FD-130 terminal - A WiFi-enabled device that allows you to accept EMV, PIN debit, swipe, and NFC payments, print receipts directly from the terminal, add tips, and more.

Accept Payments from Your Mobile Device

Clover Go app

The Clover Go app is more than just a payments app. You can manage inventory, items counts, issue refunds and more. Check out the highlights:

Clover Go card reader

When paired with the Clover Go app, the Clover Go “All-In-One” EMV card reader allows you to accept card and digital payments anywhere you go. It connects to your iOS or Android device via Bluetooth. 

Accept Payments Remotely

When you need to accept payments over the phone, through the mail, or from your computer, Dharma’s Virtual Terminal within their MX Merchant platform is a solid solution.  From a single screen, just type in the credit card number, expiration date, address, and you’re on your way. A receipt will automatically be generated, and you can even add a note, assign a PO or invoice number, and charge an existing customers account.

Accept Payments Online or through Your Software

When you need to accept payments on your website, Dharma offers two gateway solutions, the NMI Gateway and Authorize.net integration.

NMI Gateway

The NMI Gateway is a feature-rich product created by Network Merchants, Inc. It enables you to accept card payments (including Level 2/3) online through their virtual terminal, online shopping cart, or build payments directly into your software with their API. Checkout NMI’s features:

Authorize.net
